Membership in the PrimeCare O&P Network

Membership Benefits for You:

  1. The best discounts in the industry from our PrimeCare Partner vendors.
    • Enjoy special everyday discounts from a growing list of major vendors like Atlanta International, American Orthopedic Supply, Boston Brace, Fillauer, Inc., Jim Smith Sales, Ohio Willow Wood, PEL, Royal Knit, and more! These vendors remind you how much your PrimeCare discount saves you every time you buy!
    • Ask for our list of PrimeCare Partners and review the discounts they offer!
  2. Experienced marketing support.
    • We help to promote your name and enhance your visibility at local/regional healthcare events. Need local marketing advice or answers? Just ask us.
    • Our NEW program places our public relations experience and media contacts at your disposal: when your business gains new practitioners, earns facility or practitioner certifications, let us know and we’ll issue press releases to your local newspaper(s) as well as leading industry publications!
    • Our public relations efforts on behalf of all PrimeCare members increase client awareness, and improve your chances of being selected as a provider. Our presence at state meetings and regional case manager shows also allows us to promote you in your home community.
    • See your business handsomely promoted on our website, complete with location maps to guide patients to your facility. Since more than 75% of case managers use the Internet as a resource for referrals, this can be a valuable asset to grow your business.
    • Case managers are a vital referral source. PrimeCare’s ad in the Case Management Resource Guide is prominently displayed on the first page of the O&P section.
  3. New ways to gain visibility.
    • PrimeCare’s exclusive Practitioner Directory puts information about your facility directly into the hands of contracts and case managers. Each of your practitioners and technicians will be listed with their credentials; your facility’s practitioner resources can be noted at a glance in our frequently-updated network chart.
  4. A lengthy and growing list of MCO contracts.
    • PrimeCare actively pursues and negotiates contracts with insurance providers YOU specify; and offers troubleshooting assistance with difficult claims to help you get the most from each contract.
  5. A continuing series of for-credit seminars.
    • Our fifth PrimeFare annual seminar was held in June 2004, with 56 ABC-approved credits available. This and future PrimeCare seminars are available first to our members at reduced rates. Well-known and respected presenters include experts from Ohio Willow Wood, Fillauer, and more; a popular administrative track and NEW CPed and TECH TRACKS offer excellent educational opportunities for all! Ask about PrimeFare 2005, June 24-25, at the Nashville Convention Center & Renaissance Hotel. (LINK TO PF PAGE)
  6. A window and a voice.
    • Our PrimeTime newsletter keeps members abreast of our activities, intentions, concerns, and successes—which directly impact each PrimeCare member! Read about new PrimeCare Partner discounts from industry suppliers, the status of class action lawsuits against major national MCOs, new PrimeCare Network members, and new programs and benefits available to members. PrimeTime also offers you the opportunity to sound off and request input and opinions from other members.
  7. A lot of little bonuses.
    • If you request it, we’ll try it--! We’ve developed a number of tools exclusively for PrimeCare member use: e.g. a consumer activism form that allows your patients to effectively protest to MCOs that switch them to other providers—while you maintain a growing file of patient protest documentation that can be vital to your success in negotiating with stubborn contracts.

It is our intention that your PrimeCare membership will open doors, admit you to expanded business and educational opportunities, and offer you the opportunity to do what you do best—provide quality O&P service to those who need it.
